After two days of the action “School for Tibet” organized by the Institute of Research on Civilizations and the Association Education for Peace, we managed to raise 3106.50 zlotys!

On 19th May at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów a seminar took place during which Damian Liśkiewicz (employee of the Institute of Research on Civilizations) presented the main theses of his PhD dissertation.

Wojciech Grzędziński, photographer of Dziennik, received the Grand Press Photo 2009 Award.

On 7th May 2009 in the Academic Club at UITM in Rzeszów, Maciej Milczanowski (employee of the Institute of Research on Civilizations) conducted a lecture about the beginnings of the Roman empire.
