SPRING BREEZE OF JAPAN
The lecture-discussion on Japan was held by Ms Iga Dżochowska – the Director of the Japanese Culture Centre in Przemyśl. A special guest of the event was Ms Atsuko Ogawa, who showed us the secrets of the art of flower arrangement – ikebana, presented selected words in Japanese to the students, as well as favoured us with a spring recital of European and Japanese composers. Right after the lecture, the guests had a chance to taste dishes of Japanese cuisine prepared by the Kyoto Sushi Restaurant. Another part of our cultural event was the “Sushi School”, i.e. a brief course on preparing sushi, led by the sushi masters from the Kyoto Sushi Restaurant. The event ended in the Index Pub with a disco... in Japanese style – to give us another taste of real Japanese atmosphere.
